: Can anyone tell
me what STI Typepush button controls means?

STI is Shimano's indexed gears for racing bikes. Camagnolo have a very similiar system called ERGO levers.
2 levers (or buttons if you
like) select either the next higher or lower gear.
This is a similar system to the ones on mountain bikes but Ergo and STI are built into the brake levers as one unit.
