Hi, I have similar problem but I bought my bike from a cycle shop, I am 51 female hav'nt ridden a bike for many years, and was persuaded to sign up for a London to Paris charity cycle ride, started quite slowly getting on fine apart from usual aches and pains saddle sores etc, but Sunday done my first longish ride 30 miles, tried to keep up with my much younger cousin
and my legs completely gave way, I now have been told my bike tyres are all wrong, its a hybrid bike the types are thick and knobbley, I have totally lost my motivation, can anyone help or give me advice on the bike, I cannot afford another one as this one cost me 300 pounds.
