Just to correct one point on virtualgab's posting. She says there's no difference between a mans and a ladies bike. Sorry but you are wrong. The distance between saddle and handlebar is longer on a mans bike. Women in general have longer legs and a shorter torso than men. Women also have a wider pelvis and so need a wider saddle. Additionally, ladies will sit ON the saddle and hold the bars whereas men lean forward. The vast majority of females find a mans bike uncomfortable to ride.
