Richard... the whole premise of "impartial" is that we aim to take NO side.

My piece (and yes, I wrote it), aims to stress both the pros and cons. Personally I don't wear one and aside from a small period when my kids were first learning and again when they started to venture out onto the roads solo, I've never enforced their wearing on my kids. That does not however mean that I am 100% anti helmet... which is what you appear to be yearning for me to be.

The piece is still relevant, whether you necessarily agree with it is not my concern and I won't argue the toss over scientific (or otherwise) data. My attitude: wear one if you want to, or if it makes you feel safer. Don;t wear one if you don't think it'll have any benefit TO YOU. I'm easy either way.
