My comments were based on the spec sheet from the giant web site which will be the current model. Illustrates again that the name painted on the side might not be as informative as you might think! Be sure the size is right (left over bikes tend to be big ones or little ones) on the one you have spotted.

I don't know the trek range but the same rules apply. They have a money saving tactic of fitting cheap bottom brackets to bikes that appear to be "good" value.
