The Big Bike Ride is a 46-mile (approx) Manchester to Chester cycle challenge from Lancashire County Cricket Ground to Cheshire County Sports Club. Registration is £18 per person (£20 if registering on the day). The route is fully marshalled and on road. The minimum age for the Big Bike Ride is 12, although children aged 10+ can take part if they are experienced cyclists and parents/guardians are confident of their ability. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Trailer bikes for young children are not allowed. Don’t worry about returning to Manchester once you’ve completed the ride – MedEquip4Kids will be providing transport, but there will be a charge for this. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like more information about transport back to Manchester
