Yes you can use a courier to collect a bike for you. Try Parcel2go, they are reasonably cheap, (typically about £20 for a standard bike, more for a heavy mountain bike). The problem you have however is that they will not give a time of collection, so the vendor has to wait in all day, and you will also have to wait till he arrives as they won't give any indication of delivery time (apart from between 09.00 and 18.00).
