Hello DocB

Curiously, I'm not getting any aches or pains elsewhere - but I didn't think I was fit! The grips have an flat edge which helps a bit. I'm wearing gloves I had for walking, that have some padding on the palms - maybe there are better ones I should get? But, I find after a while, I have to try and raise my hands off the palms and just hold myself up on my fingers - don't feel safe though.
